The idea of creating this website was purely in response to a need to do something creative! The website will include a mixture of old and new material. I included an old essay "Kiakoura," for example, to show how travelling can not only give individuals a better appreciation of nature, but also how nature can inspire us. Giving back to the community is something I strongly advocate for, whether this is by volunteering, making a monetary donation to a charity, engaging in acts of kindness, or by bringing about positive change to make the world a better place. To me, a legacy shouldn't be judged by what one leaves to a charity after they are gone, but by how individuals positively contribute towards the greater good while they are alive - In other words a living legacy. Having a web page pertaining to animals is a natural inclusion to this website since animals are dear to my heart. My hope is to try to educate people and address issues such as pet abandonment. My blogs are my personal opinions. Still, hopefully there is at least something here that one can enjoy browsing through! Thank you for visiting.
Parts of this website are currently a work-in-progress, so please be patient! If you want to drop me a line you can always write in the guestbook.
I would just like to say a special thank you to Dr. Judith H.
